Forskning är en otroligt outnyttjad resurs

Sverige satsar rejält på forskning utan att ta vara på resultaten fullt ut. Universitetens holdingbolag kan förändra läget. Om de får tillräckliga resurser. Det menar Anna Ragén, vd för Örebro universitet Holding AB.

AI-baserad riskanalys väg mot hållbart samhälle

Skillnaden är hårfin mellan skadligt och tolerabelt för människor och miljö. Kunskap parad med AI och maskininlärning ger moderna och bättre analyser av risker. Climeon 2020 års vinnare av Smart industri

Climeon omvandlar geotermisk värme eller spillvärme från industrier och fartyg till grön el, med kraftfullt stöd av digital teknik. Företagen OP Teknik och ZeroPoint Technologies föräras i år med varsitt hedersomnämnande.

FoU-barometern 2021

Kompetensbrist är fortsatt det största hotet mot företagens forskning och utveckling i Sverige. Omställningen mot digitalisering och hållbarhet kräver fler utbildade inom områden som mjukvaruutveckling och grön teknik. Ökade möjligheter till distans­arbete kan underlätta rekryteringen, visar IVAs FoU-barometer för 2021.

Rapport: Klimatförändringar och hållbar vattenförsörjning

Klimatförändringarna påverkar Sveriges vattenförsörjning. Exakt hur vattenflöden och den hydrologiska balansen påverkas är svårt att säga även om klimatmodellerna pekar på en nederbördsökning. Det fortsatta behovet av mätdata av god kvalitet är stort liksom en effektiv samordning mellan de 30 expertmyndigheter som ansvarar för olika delar av vattenförvaltningen. Det visar IVAs rapport som ger en samlad kunskapsgenomgång av klimatförändringarnas påverkan på vattnets kretslopp och vattenmiljöer.

FoU-barometern 2020

Färre FoU-chefer ger det svenska FoU-klimatet högsta betyg. Andelen som anser att det är ”bra eller ”mycket bra” har minskat med drygt tio procentenheter jämfört med 2019, visar IVAs andra FoU-barometer. Kompetens inom viktiga framtidsområden är fortsatt en bristvara.
