EvacAware: Real-Time Intelligence for Coordinated Evacuations
The lack of situational awareness and poor communication among evacuation teams and between responders and evacuees lead to delayed response times, increased risk of injury or death. We designed EvacAware, a smart system that helps evacuation teams make better decisions quickly.
It provides real-time information about hazards, requests, procedures, activities, and occupancy through an easy-to-use mobile app. EvacAware improves team communication and awareness with advanced sensors and AI-driven algorithms, making emergency evacuations faster and more effective. The app is designed to be user-friendly and works well in different emergency situations. EvacAware stands out by optimizing real-time data and using AI to ensure high usability, satisfaction, and accessibility, making it better than other solutions. Additionally, our system is customizable for various emergencies and explores new business models through commercialization and integration into public safety infrastructure.
