Green.AI

The Green Area Factor represents the ratio of “eco-efficient surface area” to the total property area. Manually calculating this can be cumbersome due to the labor-intensive process of identifying ecosystem objects in urban areas.

Green.AI streamlines this by using AI to analyse satellite and drone images, automatically identifying green areas, classifying objects, and calculating a Green Area Index. This allows urban planners to assess green space distribution on a large scale, drastically reducing workloads.

Green.AI also supports healthier, sustainable cities, serving as a decision-making tool for new urban areas and remediation projects. By offering an efficient, real-time alternative to manual mapping, it helps cities meet green space and climate resilience goals. Tested with high accuracy in Örebro, Green.AI is poised to assist municipalities in achieving biodiversity, stormwater management, and urban cooling objectives, ultimately enhancing public health and sustainable growth.
