Moving Planets: A Game for Circular Value Co-Creation

Transitioning towards a circular economy is vital for reducing resource consumption and environmental impact. Yet, the adoption of circular business models remains slow, partly due to a mismatch between customer needs and what businesses offer. User needs are often overlooked in the design process, contributing to limited demand and adoption.

To address this, we have developed a digital, game-based tool that fosters collaboration between businesses and customers, enabling them to co-create ideas for circular products and services. This game, called Moving Planets, facilitates a participatory design process, allowing businesses and customers to interact and experiment together in an engaging way. By using the tool, stakeholders can more easily connect, innovate, and ultimately adopt circular products and services.

In 2025, we will present and further test our game prototype at various events and with interested organizations. Contact us if you would like to arrange a play session.
