This year's Science & Society seminar will focus on the challenges and opportunities associated with international collaboration in a broad sense in today’s changing geopolitical landscape. IVA Fellows from four different continents will discuss how to maximize the benefits of cross-border cooperation while managing potential risks, to ensure that science and technology continue to propel global progress.

In today’s interconnected world, scientific research and technological development know no borders. Navigating the complexities of international collaboration has never been more important. This seminar brings together experts from academia, industry, and policy-making to share strategies for building productive global partnerships that drive innovation while safeguarding intellectual property and upholding ethical standards.

The discussion will be led by prof. Sylvia Schwaag Serger, President of IVA.

The seminar will be held in English.
